About the founder
Owen Barnes is the Founder and CEO of Kiyo Athletics. Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, Owen’s upbringing instilled in him the values of faith, family, hard work, and commitment - principles that continue to shape both his life and the brand he has built.
Kiyo Athletics was born from a vision that goes beyond apparel. Owen wanted to create a brand that encourages people to move with purpose, train with confidence, and continuously work toward becoming the best version of themselves - both inside and outside the gym.
For Owen, progress is built through the small decisions we make every day: getting up, showing up, staying disciplined, and refusing to let distractions stand between us and our goals. That mindset is at the heart of Kiyo Athletics.
